Straining netting one horizontal at a time is how a fence ends up with a wavy top line and uneven tension down the sheet. A strainer board grips the full height of the mesh and pulls it as one piece, so every wire comes up together and the fence goes on square. The Strainrite 1530mm Netting Strainer Board is the press-formed steel board for that job, supplied as a single board with the wedge clamp system.

The wedge is what makes it hold: seat the netting, drop the wedge, and the grip tightens as you pull rather than slipping under load. It suits most mesh, hinged joint and ring joint netting, which covers effectively every field fence, sheep and goat, and deer netting you are likely to hang.
