Grounding Rods
Grounding is the most under-built part of most electric fences — and the #1 reason a hot fence reads weak. This collection carries 6 ft galvanized ground rods and the hardware to connect them right.
Rule of thumb: 3 feet of ground rod per output joule, rods spaced 10 feet apart, in year-round moist soil. A 6-joule energizer wants three 6-footers minimum. Undersize the grounding and you paid for joules your stock never feels.
