Agri 5 Solar Energizer — Seven Acres of Fence From a Unit That Needs Nothing But Daylight

A solar energizer only earns its place if it stays charged through a bad week of weather. The Strainrite Agri 5 Solar runs a large 10 watt panel into an internal lithium iron phosphate battery, in a weather-resistant housing on a robust solar bracket.

It powers up to 16,400 ft (5km) of fence, or 7 acres (2.8 ha), at 0.47 joules output and 12kV max voltage. That's a working paddock unit: cross-fencing, a rotational grazing block, or a remote run with no mains anywhere near it. It mounts to a T-post, and both the solar and battery charge states read off the housing — a walk past tells you whether it's healthy without pulling out a meter.
